The Nakba commemorates the massacres and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land in 1948, when 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly evicted from their land by Zionist militia groups. Many fled to Gaza. Over the last 8 months in Gaza, over 200,000 people have been displaced. Many for the tenth time. The Nakba never ended. Today it is accelerating.

Looking for things meant I could enjoy the feeling in my body. Something like hope, or friendship.

Palestinians in the West Bank plant roughly 10,000 olive trees a year, to make up for the roughly 10,00 trees Israel cuts or burns every year, since 1967. People I get but why — why bring trees into this?

Some fungi live inside plants. Some live on their surfaces, and some live around plant roots. Pre-colonisation, a tree may have had 2-50 different types of companion fungi, each with their own community, which were spread across the ecosystem.
