Hana Pera Aoake (Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāti Mahuta, Ngāti Wehi Wehi) is a Māori artist and writer based in Te Whanganui-a-tara, Aotearoa. Hana is a repressed bogan with a heart of gold, who primarily works collaboratively within the Indigenous collective Fresh and Fruity with Mya Morrison-Middleton (Ngāi Tahu). Fresh and Fruity initially started as an ARI (Artist Run initiative) in Ōtepoti, New Zealand in 2014. Hana recently completed an MFA (Fine Arts) at Massey University.
