Mykaela Saunders is a Koori, Lebanese, working-class and queer creative and critical writer, who teaches and researches Indigenous Studies at the University of Sydney. She was born on her ancestral Dharug lands in Sydney’s west, and grew up between there and Tweed Heads, as part of the Bundjalung Goori community. She now lives in Melbourne.
