The Nakba commemorates the massacres and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land in 1948, when 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly evicted from their land by Zionist militia groups. Many fled to Gaza. Over the last 8 months in Gaza, over 200,000 people have been displaced. Many for the tenth time. The Nakba never ended. Today it is accelerating.

International law and the laws of armed conflict apply to all, but they are not being enforced against all. We submit that the Australian government should not continue to support Israel in the commission of systematic violations of the most fundamental norms of international law and humanity.
