Ways to subscribe

Overland has readers all across Australia, and this year, we’ve got a fantastic collection of regional prizes, including theatre tickets, writers’ centre memberships, coffee, gift vouchers, and of course, books, books, books! There’s one prize for every state in Australia.

We’ve also got a special prize set aside for our New Zealand subscribers, too. But you need to take out a subscription before midnight on Wednesday 11 November to be eligible to win!

Remember, everyone who subscribes during Subscriberthon also goes into the running for one of seven Day Prizes, plus three Major Prizes. That’s three chances to win! What are you waiting for?

If you’re a long-time reader of Overland, why not opt for auto-renewal? Subscribe once and let us take care of the rest!

Plus, if you subscribe during Subscriberthon, we’ll put you into the prize pool for the corresponding Subscriberthon day in the following year. So if you subscribe with auto-renewal on Day Two this year, once your auto-renewal has gone through, you’ll go into the prize draw on Day Two next year.

And that’s not all! If you auto-renew during Subscriberthon, you’ll go into the running to win a special auto-renewal spot prize!

Subscriberthon FAQ

I want to join in but my subscription isn’t due for renewal yet! 
That’s okay – if you buy a subscription during Subscriberthon we’ll extend your current subscription by four issues, and you’ll go in the running to win!

Last year during Subscriberthon, I opted for automatic renewal. Am I still eligible for prizes this year?
Yes! Once your auto-renewal has gone through, we’ll put you into the prize pool for the corresponding Subscriberthon day. So if you subscribed on Day Two of Subscriberthon in 2014, you’ll go into the prize draw on Day Two in 2015. 

Can I buy a subscription for my friend?
What a lovely thing to do. Of course you can – just enter their details in the shipping section. Your friend will get four issues of Overland delivered to their door and go into the running to win one of our excellent prizes.

Oh no! I subscribed last week! Have I missed out on all the Subscriberthon fun?
Absolutely not! If you subscribed on or after 22 October 2015 you’ll still go into the prize draw for the Major Prizes and the Regional Prizes. 

Can I just make a donation?
You can indeed! Head over to our Donations page. If you donate during Subscriberthon you’ll be eligible for the prize draw, too.
