Mardi Reardon-Smith

Mardi Reardon-Smith is an environmental anthropologist interested in human-environment relations, political ecology, intercultural relationships in settler-colonial contexts, and visual anthropology. She is a postdoctoral research fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society, working on a project about ADM, ecosystems and multispecies relationships. Her first book, Making Do: Conservation ethics and ecological care in Australia, will be published in late 2025 with Stanford University Press.
