Overland and the National Union of Workers are hosting a lively end-of-year debate on the topic of automation and what it will mean for workers and labour.

Ready to battle it out on the night are co-founder of the Safe Schools Coalition Victoria Roz Ward, software developer and poet Benjamin Laird (who may bring robots!), writer and lawyer for the people Lizzie O’Shea, worker and NUW delegate Tarek Soueid, journalist and cultural critic Mel Campbell, and lawyer and commentator Josh Bornstein. Chaired by Trades Hall’s assistant secretary, Carina Garland.

The summer edition of Overland, containing the winners of this 2018 Fair Australia Prize winners, will also be available for sale on the night.

Free food, free drinks, free event! But please book tickets so we can keep an eye on numbers!
