The images used in this composition were originally published by Olia Lialina and Dragan Espenschied at One Terabyte of Kilobyte Age, a blog that automatically displays random screenshots from an archive of long-forgotten Geocities pages. That archive, The Geocities Torrent, was created by Archive Team following their 2009 effort to preserve Geocities data from Yahoo servers faced with mass deletion.
