If you want to go out dancing: the corporate takeover of Pride

There is resistance inherent in the joy of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer people, in existing in those bodies. But there is no resistance in forgetting or compromising. We will never not need community, and places to gather, to physically gather and be healed by the simple reminder that we are not alone.
