She holds a PhD in history from the University of Cambridge and is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Edinburgh. She works on the global history of feminism. She is passionate about bringing ideas to life beyond the university and writes often for a public audience recently at Overland, Meanjin, The White Review and Public Books.
