Congratulations to Shaun Tan for his Oscar for Best Animated Short for ‘The Lost Thing’. The forthcoming Overland 202 contains a special colour feature on Tan and his work. He also contributed this spectacular cover image.

How did I miss this – that is the best cover ever! Congrats Shaun Tan – you have reached the dizzy heights.
if you saw shaun talk at the state library victoria (March 17), you will have seen the images from an autobiographical ‘essay’. I think it will be issue 202. if so, check it out. it’s amazing and very funny -it’s called a day in the life of shaun tan.
