Beautiful Losers
Written by Alec Patric on 24-10-2009
Watch this film ---> Beautiful Losers (DVD)
Reasons: interviews & art. Some good; occasionally brilliant. One epiphany.
What else do you want? If you like art, you’ll pick it up at your next opportunity.

Or, why not come to Speakeasy Cinema and see it there? Melbourne & Sydney!
Speakeasy Cinema is a pop-up cinema event making its debut appearance on the cultural circuit as part of the Anode independent arts festival.
Speakeasy Cinema is happening in Melbourne and Sydney during October-November 2009, screening films that highlight underground art stars, literature rebels and creative genius.
In Melbourne, Speakeasy teams up 1000 £ Bend, the new venue from the folk behind St Jeromes, offering a super-deluxe meal and movie special. Choose between a gourmet ’roo or saganaki burger and either a glass of wine or a bottle of beer to suck on while you watch the film. For a clean $20 (pre-sale) / $25 (at the door), we challenge you to find a cheaper date with the kind of cachet eating off a beanbag lap-tray will give you!

Seeing some of the art on the big screen would be wonderful. Thanks for this Lauren. Now all someone needs to do is organize an exhibition, because that’s what I’d really like for Christmas.
