well famous
Written by Jeff Sparrow on 27-02-2009
There's a discussion of the Overland-Meanjin soccer match (a clash at which Overland won a clear moral victory) in that glossy mag that comes with the Fairfax papers. Key moments: Meanjin's Sophie Cunningham on shoes and Vulgar's Ian Syson on 'inner-city knobs'. Plus there's a passing mention of my fashion sense.

No mention of my refereeing skills?
No, not so much.
Christ, what sort or ratty publication are they running over there are fairfax?
They are behind the times Jeff, I’ve always dug your fashion sense Jeff. I only sent in my work to Overland last year because you were wearing a really cool “Rastafari” shirt on the EWF “let’s get political” panel and I took it as a sign from Jah. Wacky but no lie.
The amount I was quoted as paying for Campers was wildly exaggerated. (And they were brown, not black).
